Know when to adjust entry, 15 · 30 minutes before a hall fills

We forecast, 15 and 30 minutes ahead, when a hall will fill and entry control will be needed

01 | Where it's used

Where it's used

Large exhibitions

Exhibitions at COEX · KINTEX · BEXCO-class venues

Performances of 1,000+ inside the venue

Performances of 1,000+ held outside a performance venue file a disaster response plan.[6]

Exhibitions at a venue that's new to them

With COEX Halls A · C closed for works from July 2027 to December 2028, 28 exhibitions in 2027 move to other venues.[10]

02 | Today's challenge

Entry must be adjusted before capacity is exceeded

On-site sales stopped over capacity

The 2025 Seoul International Book Fair suspended on-site ticket sales considering capacity.[1]

On-site tickets paused by crowding

G-STAR paused or closed on-site ticket sales early depending on crowding in the halls (2022).[2]

Detection is already in place

Korean venues already detect crowding in real time with AI CCTV. When halls will fill, and when to adjust entry, is the organizer's call.[3]

Bottlenecks are booths and walkways, not halls

Popular booth waits reached up to 4 hours (G-STAR 2025), and extra safety staff were posted at weak points such as escalators and stairs (G-STAR 2022).[8][9]
